Amanda R Brown 49th Lorne Conference on Protein Structure and Function 2024

Amanda R Brown

Amanda graduated with her bachelors in biochemistry and molecular biology from Clark University in May and is now continuing her research with the Spratt Lab in pursuit of an accelerated masters degree. She has been working on the development of a high-throughput kinetic FRET assay to study the enzymes in the HECT E3 Ligase family, and has recently begun using this assay to test the inhibition of HECW2 activity by small molecules and disease-state mutations.
